Co-Founder
Tom Gress has been studying the art of music performance since he can remember, galloping on his hobby horse to the high‑energy polkas that filled his childhood home in Western Pennsylvania. Early experience in school bands, orchestras, and choirs—studying woodwind, brass, percussion, and voice—led him to major in music education with applied voice. After a 44‑year high school teaching career directing band, chorus, and orchestra, Tom retired to become a full‑time performing musician. Over the decades he has contributed to many projects as a drummer, percussionist, and guitarist, and he regularly lends his voice to vocal harmonies.
Nosh
Ninowtzka—affectionately known as Nosh—has been performing since childhood, beginning her journey on the musical theatre stage at the historic Coconut Grove Playhouse. Music, performance, and writing have always been woven into the fabric of her life.
In 2011, she stepped into the South Florida music scene fronting a couple of cover bands, including Mainstreet, bringing her dynamic voice and presence to stages across the region. A few years later, she picked up the acoustic guitar, opening the door to a more intimate style of performance built around vocals, storytelling, and stripped‑down musicianship.
From that evolution, Nosh and Gress Music emerged—an acoustic-driven South Florida sound rooted in energy, connection, and a genuine love for entertaining diverse audiences and venues. Today, Nosh continues to shape a musical experience that feels both personal and vibrant, inviting listeners into every moment she creates.
